Locally grown Clover avocados have a longer shelf-life as they are picked from high altitudes, where they grow naturally. Low in sugar and high on fiber, a ripe avocado is identified by a slightly purple-black outer skin.
The green, whole, unripe avocados ripen in 4-7 days.
To speed up ripening, store in a paper bag.
Store ripe avocados in a moisture-proof bag in the fridge for 3-5 days.
Cut avocados should be wrapped in moisture proof bag (or an airtight container) , refrigerate and consumer within 2-3 days.
